the getty center

Today was up there in the category of good days.

Sandra and I went to Amoeba to get some new music (Album Leaf, Animal Collective, Yo La Tengo, and John Mayer), which we followed with Chai and a visit to the Getty before meeting up with Curtis for a movie in the Hollywood Forever Cemetary, and Diddy Reise (which I never take time to notice the spelling of, so sorry about that). Pretty Amazing.

The Gardens at the Getty were SO nice today. It was breezy up on that hill, which was an amazing change from the recent heat. There were children playing on the lawn, and sun shining through beautiful flowers.

Tim Hawkinson's "Uber Organ"

I found this mask that a kid had painted on the ground in the parking structure of the Getty. I for some reason decided to pick it up and put it on my face. Later I used it to scare Curtis on his motorcycle.

Tomorrow, more pictures. . and

A NEW CAMERA! I am so excited. It will be glued to my hands for a while.

i'm glad you picked up the mask and put it on your face. however unsanitary it may have been, sometimes life's more important than that.
