I wish that I could transport you to where I am. There's no way to describe what a beautiful day it is today. Even the best photographer couldn't make you feel the clean breeze, and hear the rustling leaves. It would be impossible to show how the green trees are dancing against the cloud streaked sky. Warm patches of grass are inviting a picnic, asking softly to be used for a moment of relaxation and recognition of the surrounding beauty. You need to be here.
On top of this, today is dedicated to art. Generally, my days are dedicated to art in some kind, but especially today. This morning I went to the school gallery to see the newest alumni show. This afternoon I'm making art, working on my photo project, and tonight I'm going to see Muse and enjoy sound art.
What a lovely day.
And another thing:
THAILAND
I got accepted as a team leader at my school to lead a short term missions trip. I am making more and more progress toward going in January.
IF YOU WANT TO GO, LET ME KNOW! It will be the last 2-3 weeks of January, working near/in Bangkok with OMF (overseas mission federation) for 1-2 weeks with whatever they need, and one week with North Korean Missionary Kids doing VBS.
We will be raising support, so having your own money isn't an issue, and fortunately nothing is ours, anyway.
Think about it, pray about it. Pray for me either way if you don't mind.
I hope that your day is lovely.
